VIA MAIN STREET IOWA: Congratulations to Clarence Main Street for their Lincoln Highway Heritage Crosswalks on being recognized as the 2020 Itty Bitty Nitty Gritty Award winner! Safety is a challenge as cars zoom down #LincolnHighway (Highway 30) through #downtown #Clarence. The Clarence Main Street Design Committee led the creative effort to paint unique crosswalks with the Lincoln Highway logo with the help of grants from the Lincoln Highway Association and Keep Iowa Beautiful. The project also incorporated City staff, the North Cedar cross country team and other volunteers to complete the project. Congratulations Clarence Main Street and City of Clarence, Iowa!
